Spring/Summer Term 2024

The Harrow Potter studio is pleased to announce that it will be resuming the regular pottery and ceramic classes for the new April 2024 term.

Join us during this easter break for our

Easter Open Sessions

These sessions are for both beginners and enthusiasts alike, who would like to come in and enjoy the opportunity to play with clay, as a versatile medium.

The sessions are not structured and are run on a casual and friendly basis, where those attending can work on improving their skills and techniques either on the pottery wheel, hand building and sculptural techniques, as well as press moulds and slip/glaze decoration.

The cost of the sessions is £40 per person for the 3 hours and work completed on the day can be bisque/glazed fired and collected at later stage and there is a modest charge of £6 per kilo for finished items.

Taster Sessions

Our Taster/Drop-In Sessions are typically held on Saturdays between 12 — 3pm.

These are opportunities for those who are new and would like to enjoy the benefits of using clay as a malleable and versatile medium for the first time, as well as for others who are already familiar with the material.

What’s new

We will be looking forwards to greet everybody back to the studio and have made some changes to the format of our course. In light of recent events, we are doing our part to welcome everybody back with safety measures in place.

Play with Clay

Considering recent events and in an increasingly stressful world, clay acts as a therapeutic, malleable and versatile medium, that when handled, enhances one’s creative potential and realises stress.
